Text Box: Swim Team Families, Our Seasonal USA/SD Swimming membership runs April 1-August 28th. However, we have never started in April or May since we have never practiced indoors. The HPRW board along with the Nordby Center have been working hard to reach an agreement whereas we can start our season ON TIME utilizing the Nordby Center pool on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 8-9:30pm beginning on April 1st and running through June 6th. This will allow us to actually get in shape before our first meet! These early practices are NOT mandatory and there will be a separate fee for these practices payable to the Nordby Center. The Nordby Center is offering a substantial cost break to make this affordable for us! All swimmers participating will have to also register with HPRW and pay their membership fees prior to March 24th. This will allow HPRW enough time to get everyone registered and “official” before April 1st. Please see attached Nordby Center form which needs to be completed and returned to the Nordby Center prior to March 24th. Also, attached is our HPRW registration form which must be completed and returned to Huron Swim Team, PO Box 471, or dropped off at Ace Realty. Other important info: Barb & Adam are moving to Denver so Barb has resigned as our head coach! Paige Canterbury has been hired as our new head coach and Rita Baszler will be our assistant coach. An e-mail introducing these ladies will be forthcoming! HPRW Membership fees will be $100 for the 2008 season and as always the team will cover ALL entry fees at every meet for every swimmer! For families with 3 or more swimmers, the rate will be $100 for the 1st two and each additional swimmer will be $75. To assist with the “money crunch”, HPRW will accept $50 now and the remaining $50 HPRW Registration fee to be paid at our parent’s meeting...date to be determined.
